Gallop Into the New Year Holiday Horse Camp

Saddle up for a week of holiday fun at Venture Stables’ Gallop Into the New Year Camp!

Each day includes a morning horsemanship lesson and an afternoon practice ride to build skills and confidence in the saddle.

Riders will enjoy festive barn activities, caring for horses, and connecting with new friends — all leading up to the Saturday Fun Horse Show on January 3rd, where every camper gets to shine!

Morning – Ground Lesson & Horsemanship
Each day starts with hands-on horsemanship lessons. Riders will groom, tack up, and learn the skills that build connection and confidence from the ground up — just like the good ole days.

Lunch Break & Barn Activities
Riders enjoy lunch together (bring your own), play barn games, and take part in fun holiday-themed activities.

Afternoon – Practice Ride / Lease Ride
The afternoon focuses on time in the saddle. Campers will ride the same horse throughout the week, allowing them to grow together and truly practice like riders used to — consistent, mindful, and full of heart.

Saturday – Fun Horse Show!
The week wraps up with our Gallop Into the New Year Fun Horse Show on Saturday, January 3rd — included in camp registration!

This camp brings back the feel of the “good ole days” — where riders spent full, joy-filled days with their horses, learning, laughing, and growing together. It’s not just a camp; it’s a week of connection, confidence, and unforgettable memories.

Campers finish the week by showing off what they’ve learned in a relaxed, supportive show environment. The energy is high, the music is playing, and everyone cheers each other on — just like last year’s Christmas Show, only bigger and better!

With a maximum of 10 riders, every camper gets personalized attention from experienced instructors, ensuring safety, learning, and a whole lot of fun. You’ll leave more confident, more skilled, and part of the Venture family.
