🐎 Barrel & Pole Horse Camp 2026
Arrive Monday, June 29th at 9:00 AM and pick up Friday, July 3rd at 5:00 PM

This camp is designed for riders and horses of all ages who want to improve their times, build confidence, and achieve new goals in the arena. Bring your own horse or ride one of Venture Stables’ trusted mounts. Overnight options include campers, cabins, or accommodations in our cozy room above the indoor stables.
Throughout the week, riders will train with Laura Morrison, an experienced barrel racer and trainer from Nova Scotia with over 20 years of experience. Alongside her partner Sylvester, Laura operates a training facility in Pictou where they specialize in starting colts, refreshing seasoned horses, and helping riders reach their full potential.
🗓️ Camp Breakdown
Day 1:
Horse assignments (if needed) and run-through of barrel and pole patterns
Day 2:
Training sessions with Laura Morrison
Day 3:
Training sessions with Laura Morrison
Day 4:
Advanced coaching and pattern work with Laura Morrison
Day 5:
Session with licensed psychologist Justin Bannister focusing on confidence, mindset, and performance, followed by final timed runs and wrap-up
