Hearts And Hooves Club Starting Saturday September 24Th From 1-4
The Hearts & Hooves Club is a Stable Management program that is offered once a week from September – May. This program involves teaching youth the different aspects to having a horse.
They learn everything from:
- how to clean out the hooves
- the names and uses of the different brushes
- how to clean out stalls
- proper feeding and health maintenance principles
- learn all the different body parts of the horse/bridle/saddle
- how to braid their mane and tail
- how to safely lead a horse
- how to behave around horses and in the barn
- how to properly mount and dismount
- how to ride a horse
