It Has Been Awhile Since Venture Stables Has Had A New Post…….Its Too Cold For That :)

Lots of exciting things are happening at Venture Stables!!!!!

First of all I would like for you to all meet Tantum. She has a story ….but don’t we all…..She is 17-year-old Arabian Quarter Horse. Her mothers name was Rose and her father’s name was Eternal flyer. Her Grandmother was the pony mare that was the star of the movie PIT PONY. Tantum’s Great Grandfather was the Arabian stallion that lived at Oaklawn Farm Zoo in Alyesford, Nova Scotia.

Some may think she is not the same horse due to the color of her now !!! BUT ….. did you know …..It is a fascinating thought that once upon a time a horse was born that turned grey and subsequently white and the people that observed it were so fascinated by its spectacular appearance that they used the horse for breeding so that the mutation could be transmitted from generation to generation, says Leif Andersson who led the study. Today about one horse in ten carries the mutation for Greying with age. The white horse is an icon for dignity which has had a huge impact on human culture across the world.

Our Story….When I was 20 years old I purchased a little Filly her name was Tantum. I had her for a few years….She was what kept me emotionally alive. I was in a very bad relationship and I had to run away with my son to save our lives……the next day I went back to go get Tantum and she was gone …..He had taken her and that was heart breaking. 15 years later and I get a message from a friend saying I think I found Tantum …..And sure enough it was her…..Yesterday she came home to me. When she stepped off the trailer it was like she had been waiting for this day. She was calm relaxed and walked beside me. I feel as if our souls belong together and we are met to embark on an emotional journey to help people heal their past. Follow Tantums and Venture Stables spiritual journey changing lives one thought at a time.
